Before You Book Optional add-ons (pre-approval needed): Early check-in (1 hr): $30 Late check-out (1 hr): $30 In-cabin massage, private chef, curated experiences (inquire for pricing) By booking the this property, commonly known as "Everwood Escape", (the "Premises", or "Accommodations"), or by clicking to accept or agree when that option is made available to you, you ("Guest") accept and agree to be bound and abide by the following Guest Terms of Use ("GTUs"), as listed below. If you do not want to agree to these GTUs you must not book the Premises or, if already booked, you must cancel the Premises booking immediately. No pets are allowed. No smoking allowed. Fireplaces are turned off during the off season of end of April-end of September There are two security cameras: one at the front door and one by the back steps. Both only monitor the stairs, not the areas where you'll be relaxing. Check-In & Check-Out Check-in is at 4pm CT, unless otherwise approved. Check-out is at 11am CT, unless otherwise approved. Unauthorized late check-outs will result in an additional charge of $50 per hour. Registered Guests Only the guests included on the reservation may occupy the property unless prior written approval has been obtained by Host. Parties, events, or unauthorized visitors are not permitted. Respect for the Property Please treat our home with the same care and respect you would your own. Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay beyond normal wear and tear. Please report any maintenance concerns or accidental damage as soon as possible so we have the opportunity to address them promptly. Internet & Amenities We strive to provide all advertised amenities, including Wi-Fi, Smart TV, sauna, cold plunge, hot tub, and other conveniences, to enhance your stay. These amenities are provided in good faith but many depend on third-party providers and equipment that may occasionally experience interruptions beyond our control. If an issue occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to troubleshoot and restore service as quickly as possible. Temporary interruptions caused by internet service providers, utility companies, severe weather, equipment malfunctions, scheduled maintenance, or other circumstances beyond our control do not constitute a material breach of this rental agreement and, by themselves, do not qualify for refunds, discounts, or other compensation. Mechanical Issues Our home is professionally maintained, but mechanical systems and appliances can occasionally malfunction unexpectedly. If an issue arises, please notify us immediately. We will make reasonable efforts to repair or replace affected equipment as quickly as practical. Guests agree to provide the opportunity for us to resolve any reported issue during their stay. Natural Environment Our home is located in a beautiful wooded setting. As with any forested environment, you may occasionally encounter spider webs, insects, pollen, leaves, pine needles, mud, or other naturally occurring outdoor conditions, particularly around decks, outdoor lighting, patios, and the fire pit. Wildlife is common and may include deer, birds, squirrels, insects, snakes, and other native animals. Please remain aware of your surroundings, and do not approach or feed wildlife. These naturally occurring outdoor conditions are part of the property’s environment and do not constitute housekeeping or maintenance issues. Weather & Utility Interruptions Weather conditions may temporarily affect outdoor amenities or utility services, including electricity, water, internet, or television. While we will work diligently to assist when possible, interruptions caused by weather, utility providers, road closures, or other events beyond our control do not qualify for refunds or compensation. Fire Pit & Outdoor Areas Use the fire pit only if local burn restrictions permit. Guests assume responsibility for: Following all posted safety instructions; never leaving a fire unattended; and fully extinguishing fires before leaving the area. Outdoor amenities may occasionally be unavailable due to weather, maintenance, local burn bans or safety concerns. Cabin Sinks and Toilets - Septic System Guest is prohibited from washing food debris, grease or coffee grounds down the bathroom and kitchen sinks. The Accommodation is on a septic system, and there is no food disposal in place. Guest is prohibited from throwing anything but toilet paper in the toilets. The Accommodation is on a septic system. Guest agrees to not throw flushable wipes, feminine products, paper towels or too much toilet paper in the toilet or the system will break. If Guest clogs the drains or toilet with any debris, a plumber will have to be called out at Guest’s expense. Hot Tub Guest agrees to CONTACT THEIR PHYSICIAN before using the hot tub, particularly if Guest has health concerns. Guest agrees to KEEP THE HOT TUB COVERED when not in use or it will not heat to the desired temperature. Guest acknowledges and agrees that absolutely NO Glass is allowed in the hot tub. Guest agrees to rinse off before entering the hot tub and dry off before re-entering the house. Hot tub towels are located inside next to the bedroom dresser. Guest agrees to NOT stand or sit on the hot tub lid. If Guest breaks the lid, Guest will be held financially responsible to replace it. Guest agrees to turn off the light and jets when Guest is done using the hot tub. Sauna Guest agrees to CONTACT THEIR PHYSICIAN before using the sauna, particularly if Guest has health concerns. Guest acknowledges and agrees that absolutely NO Glass is allowed in the sauna. Please use plastic cups if you wish to have a beverage while using the sauna. Guest agrees to rinse off before entering the sauna. Cold Plunge Guest agrees to CONTACT THEIR PHYSICIAN before using the cold plunge, particularly if Guest has health concerns. Guest acknowledges and agrees that exceeding 10 minutes in the cold plunge may cause hypothermia, and uses the cold plunge at Guest’s sole risk. Guest acknowledges and agrees that absolutely NO Glass is allowed in the cold plunge. Please use plastic cups if you wish to have a beverage while using the cold plunge. Guest agrees to rinse off before entering the cold plunge. Guest agrees to NOT stand or sit on the cold plunge lid. If Guest breaks the lid, Guest will be held financially responsible to replace it. Guest acknowledges the cold plunge does not include an active chiller and is cooled using ice. Fireplaces Guest agrees to not touch or move the gas logs as damage can occur if the logs are moved. Damage to gas logs will result in additional fees based on the cost to replace the gas logs. Guest agrees to NOT burn anything, including firewood, in either the inside or outside fireplace. Guest agrees to NOT leave fires unattended. Guest agrees to NOT alter or turn off the pilot light. Our cleaning crew checks to make sure propane and pilot lights are on prior to each guest arrival (during the on-season). They will charge a fee of $75 for service calls to turn gas or pilot lights back on, which will be at Guest’s sole expense. Guest agrees to contact Host for any concerns about the fireplaces BEFORE taking any action. Fireplaces are turned off during the off season of end of April-end of September. Grilling If using the grill: Clean it after use. Never use the grill indoors. Use at your own risk. Quiet Hours Please respect our neighbors and the peaceful nature of the area by observing quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Prohibited Uses The Accommodations shall not be used for any unlawful, illegal, or commercial purpose whatsoever, other than remote working. Guest’s use of the Accommodations for any unlawful, illegal, or commercial purpose shall result in immediate termination of the balance of Guest’s reservation and the immediate expulsion of Guest from the Premises.
